Abstract

One of the main objectives of this research was to understand the legal ruling on absolute and restricted takbir in the two Eids and during the days of Hajj, and their formulas.

The first section was devoted to defining takbir and the two Eids, both linguistically and technically. The second section was devoted to understanding the ruling on absolute takbir on the two Eids. The third section was devoted to understanding the ruling on restricted takbir on the two Eids and during the days of Hajj. The fourth section was devoted to understanding the formulas of takbir in general and its ruling collectively.

The researcher concluded that absolute takbir is recommended on the two Eids by consensus, and restricted takbir is recommended on Eid al-Adha by consensus.

The researcher recommended focusing on selecting scholarly research on sensitive issues of disagreement among Islamic scholars, such as the ruling on collective dhikr, so that God may unite everyone.
