Impact of Applying E-administration on Decision-making in Public Sector Institutions: A Field Study on the Immigration and Passports Authority in Taiz Governorate

The study aimed to identify the impact of applying e-administration in its dimensions (computers and their accessories, networks, software and databases, and human resources) on decision-making in the Immigration and Passports Authority in Taiz Governorate, and to identify the reality of applying e-administration in the branch of the Authority. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach of both types (survey and correlation). The questionnaire was also used as a tool to collect data from the study population represented by all employees in the branch of the Immigration and Passports Authority in Taiz Governorate, who are (140) male and female employees. They were selected using a comprehensive survey method, however, only (78) male and female employees responded with a rate of (56%).The results of the study showed that the reality of applying e-administration with its dimensions in the Immigration and Passports Authority in Taiz governorate came with a (high) degree, except for the human resources dimension, which came with a (medium) degree, and that the reality of decision-making at the Authority in Taiz governorate came with a (high) degree. The results also concluded that there is a statistically significant impact of the application of e-administration in its dimensions (computers and their accessories - networks - software and databases - human resources) on decision-making in the Immigration and Passports Authority in Taiz Governorate.
