Abstract

"This study examines the nominal sentence governed by the verb 'kāda'—its definition and related grammatical rulings in Arabic—within the framework of Transformational-Generative Theory. It formulates the rules and semantics of transformation using specific examples, and subsequently analyzes the mental computation of this sentence's internal structure in light of the Minimalist Program.
