Abstract

This study deals with the counter meaning in modern poetic discourse. It aims to define the concept of this meaning. It pinpoints some tools or performances that contribute to its production, and reveals the way it is formulated. It also reveals some areas in which this type of meaning appears. It seeks to define its characteristics and conditions. It announces some of its value in both poetic and critic discourse. The study has discussed this topic using the Semiotic approach, and the sayings of the stylistic approach, and poetic method. It has benefited from the deconstructive, structural and descriptive procedures. The study has concluded that this meaning has real value, and a fertile appearance in the structure of the modern poetic text.
